Gift Cards:
The best and easiest way to get the perfect gift into the hands of the youth we serve is through gift cards. Youth love to do their own shopping and get exactly what they need or want. Besides, getting to go on a shopping trip is a fun outing and an opportunity to practice their behavior skills. Just about any store makes a great gift…WalMart, Target, Walgreens, Bed Bath & Beyond, Bath & Body Works, Dick’s Sporting Goods, any fast food restaurant, etc.
Wish List Items:
To keep Virginia Home for Boys and Girls running smoothly all year long, we rely on wish list donations. Below you will find a list of items that we are always grateful to accept from donors. Supply collection drives can be fun and a way to engage your school, neighborhood, business, or civic group in a worthwhile cause. Many of these items can be purchased online from Amazon and delivered directly to our campus. Using the Amazon Smile program you can stretch your donation too. Amazon will make a cash donation (0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases). Here is a link to our Amazon wish list.
Please call Joan Marable at 804-270-6566, ext. 1470 or JMarable@vhbg.org if you have any questions about the wish list or would like to donate items.
COVID-19 RELATED SUPPLIES — We need hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and disposable masks.
Lowe’s is a wonderful and generous partner of ours who regularly helps support our campus needs. They’ll help us stretch Lowe’s gift cards to the max with construction project necessities. Please consider sending us a Lowe’s gift card so we can shop to match our project lists. Thank you!
