For girls and boys ages 11-21
Residential Services offers family-style living with supportive services for boys and girls ages 11-21. Trained Teaching-Parents (a married, live-in couple) use the highly successful evidence-based Teaching-Family Model to help the children develop into responsible and caring adults.
Residential Services provides:
- Social and problem-solving skills development utilizing the Teaching-Family Model of care
- Individualized treatment planning to meet specific needs of youth, including academic development, behavioral concerns, therapy, community involvement, and family integration
- Recreational activities and community service projects
- On-site health, psychiatric, and clinical services
- Independent living preparation
(The education needs of our residents are met through John G Wood, Henrico County Public Schools, Vocational Programs, Local Community Colleges and Community GED Programs)
